Jamey Aebersold Jazz Quartet will perform on Wednesday, November 7 from 7:30-9:00 PM at the Carnegie Center for Art and History. The quartet, composed of Jamey Aebersold on the saxophone, Gabe Evens on the piano, Tyrone Wheeler on the bass, and Jonathan Higgins on the drums, will play songs from the Great American Songbook comprised of thousands of beloved and familiar songs. This is a free concert. No registration is required, but seating is limited.

Jazz has always embodied freedom. During the cold war, Communist countries thought of the United States and Jazz as meaning freedom. Jazz is ever new. Each solo is different and fresh. Imagination and spontaneity ride together for an evening of American Jazz. Come early to view Jamey Aebersold’s jazz photo collection.
